Very excited to announce the availability of Chevauchee, a set of skirmish rules for medieval and early renaisance warband and campaign games. Using a heavily modified FiveCore engine hacked together by the phenomenal Tom Mecredy, Chevauchee allows you to fight a quick pick-up battle or to generate a cast of characters and follow them on a linked campaign. Will you find fame or die brutally on a muddy field? Included in the system is a "tag" system allowing you to assemble pretty much any realistic or fantastic weapon of the period, detailed character skills and the "Fief" campaign, permitting you to run your own petty domain as a no doubt enlightened knight of virtue, honour and not that much mercenary thievery. Suitable for any individually based figures with 6-12 being a good size. Also well suited for pseudo-RPG scenarios. Available here link |

Oh fine, release that just after I spent the last of my discretionary income on miniatures for sci-fi FiveCore. I am sure it will still be available May 14th, I will pickit up then! I can't wait! |

I do love the weapon system. It's perfect for High Gygaxian play with uniquely customised polearms as far as the eye can see. |

Thanks guys! And yeah, if you want to build all those AD&D polearms that nobody really knows existed or not, this will fit you right in :) |

Looking to use them for 28mm WOTR. Looks like they'll work fine though I probably won't use the charts for making a warband. Figures will be armed with what they have. I might use a sub class for the Lords retinue archers and billmen, simply classed as Retainers but with only light armour. I like what I've read. Just need a bit of rebasing first. |

The charts are NWG tradition. I am a huge fan of random army generation and Tom took that to heart, though the intention is always that you can just grab what you have on your shelf and put them down on the table instead of rolling randomly. Glad you guys are liking the look of it. Medieval FiveCore has been one of the most persistent requests over the years. |

And they are up :) Go to your downloads in the Vault account and you'll find it. Its a touch longer since it includes quite a bit of mechanical stuff but you should be able to play from the ref sheet alone without too much hassle. |
