Whew!!! Certainly took me long enough. Just put up a post on my blog re: the finished product, so to speak. Despite a few bumps in the construction road, I think it turned out well. This post isn't my usual over abundance of WIP pics, just a couple dozen photos of the finished project. I'll get around to my usual overwhelming "How-To" post at some point, but for now this will have to suffice (in fact, I think most will probably prefer it!)

If you're interested in reading and seeing more, please click on this link to visit my blog-post in question, and thanks in advance for your time if you do:

Meanwhile, here's a handful of teaser pics…

…and just in case anyone who missed the first installment of this project wants to check it out, here's a LINK to my previous thread concerning the start of this build:

And my sincere thanks to Nick Stern for kindly posting his pic of mid-19th Century British-Indian military housing, and also to Jeff "Sgt. Guiness" Baumal, and "Last Stand" Dan Gurule for their continued support and advice during the long drawn out weeks and months while I was building this!

Mad Guru, that is fantastic! Definitely ground worth fighting for. Your weeks of hard work have paid off excellent dividends.

The WIP's on your blog are very well done and inspirational.

Really like the detail on the wood supporting the earthworks. Extremely realistic looking. Well worth all of your effort. Thanks for posting the pictures.

My sincere thanks for all the very kind words, guys -- especially you, Frederick, as anyone ready to send a "human wave of crazed fanatics" to attack one of my terrain pieces deserves specail recognition in my book!

Jeff: looks like I was editing my original post to add the "thank you" to you, Dan, and Nick, when you left your comment -- timing is everything!

It suddenly strikes me that over the past few years I've had the good fortune to meet, game with, and correspond with most of the TMPers who commented on this thread, and if it weren't for TMP I wouldn't have met any of them. So thank you, TMP!

At some point down the line I hope to have a historically accurate force of 1841 Anglo-Indians to do battle around these Cantonments. Until then I'll have to keep muddling through with their c.1880 descendants, and the next time I use those for a game -- hopefully in the near future -- I'll certainly post about here.

Thanks again for all the very generous comments!
