Hello!
I'm looking for a boy soldier.
The Italian heavy infantryman, like the Perry ones:
link
was usually accompanied by a familiar, usually a 15-16 year old.
The role of the boy was to keep the big shield when the man was using the polearm, or handing a sword when required.
This helper would have more or less the same "dress", with no armor, perhaps an helmet.
Any ideas on where to find something? I'm actually using the Perry minis, so a 20 or 25 mm miniature of an adult could do the trick. Or not?

How about Wargames Foundry?

There is a tall boy soldier helping a knight on with his armour (Med 222) and a young guy standing in with his hands behind his back, wearing a brown hat (Civilian characters 2).

thank you for the reply!

I think the models have a too medieval feeling to them.
I need some kind of "easy" stance, possibly with a weapon.

Try Parkfield Miniatures as their 25mm renaissance range is quite good.
I use one of their clean shaven landsknecht standard bearers as a lad with the ramrod for one of my hackbutts.
Good luck

These are nice!
Shame that I would have to spend 7 £ for one mini (0,8 for the mini and 6 for P&P) :(

Wouldn't the landsknechts be too late and their style of dress was far different than the Italian style of clothing, especially for the period of the mid to late 15th century?

I'm interested in the end XV, start XVI century Venetian army.
Usually I world agree, but if the landsknecht is in his shirt and socks-trousers who would notice?
