I need to get a mess of these painted up, and am still on the fence as far as what color to paint them, so thought I'd inquire here to see what color(s) you have painted your UNSC Hardsuit troopers? Gone for a subdued camo scheme? Plain white? Bright colors? Would love to see your pics, since there seem to be few on-line, at least that turned up in my searches. Color descriptions are fine, but would love to see some nice, closeup, color photos as well. |

My two cents. I always do plain, solid colored armor on SF troops. I rationalize it by saying that the armor has a chameleon quality, and shifts with the environment. Who could argue? |

Most of my sci-fi troops are in plain coloured armour – I use a lot of Desert Yellow with a Sepia wash I do have a few squads done up in urban camo – white undercoat, grey and black splashes, light black wash Here is their recon squad coolminiornot.com/361490 |

Mine are painted close to the UN blue helmet shade. |

This is a fairly old fashioned but useful site for camo. link I paint my sci fi ground troops in camo, but some in brighter colors to reflect strange terrain conditions. Anything goes I guess.
