Um, sorry, not a wooden structure for housing horses. Not even a roundhouse or some other form of engine house. No, iron horses, a stable of them. See here: whiskeyhills.blogspot.com |

Why do you need so many locomotives? |

Well, don't need them. Started by buying the Glencoe models a long time ago. And then finally decided to acquire the Peter Pig ones. The goal is a giant convention game. And having so many locomotives – and passenger and freight cars to go along with them – means a variety visually and a whole range of options on the scenario front. The train robbers will get to pick from a slough of trains but might end up picking the wrong train or even get an unexpected bonanza of loot. Or maybe a train load of shootists on their way to a range war. But mostly I wanted some variety and to be able to a rail yard scene where a rather famous Earp event occurred. There is also the possibility of using some of these in other theaters, ACW and Sudan at a minimum. |
