I use Regimental Fire & Fury in 28mm. 1 & 1/2 inches is 25 yards. Six inches is 100 yards. |

Sorry, I guess I should clarify. I meant regimental games, where the regiment is the base unit. |

The Jackson Gamers are partial to Larry Brom's "A Glint of Bayonets" in which the basic maneuver units are the infantry regiment and artillery battery. Jim |

I like Piquet: Field of Battle 2 for my 28mm ACW games. If using the author's basing suggestions, then 1" = 25 yards. |

Black Powder works just fine at this level. I've played it several times with a unit being a regiment, which looks and feels right. A very popular set of rules for multiple h&m periods. |
