Oh, man, Dan, you have outdone yourself with this post -- especially for anyone inerested in building their own gunboat and/or dhow!

Great work, my friend!

"Well except for John Mumby." Hey Dan, I really enjoy most of your reports, and I do read them. Thanks for including me in the latest. I wondered what you were up to lately. Hope to see you at West Wars.

Been driving since yesterday. Staying in Lake City, FL for the night. Not far now to the Orlando International Palms Hotel for RECON 2016! This will be my first time to Recon so very excited. I am putting on another gunboat/ground battle. I will make sure to blog out some pictures.

Hope to see some of you.

So nice to see these at Recon, even better to game with them, and best to have a chance to buy some of them! My colonial ships just took a big leap in quality!

I told Dan how much we had enjoyed reading his blog from afar; it was a highlight of the convention to have him come all the way to Florida to put on a game. Thanks, Dan.

How the heck did I miss this post the first time around?!?

Nice builds! Might have to borrow the ideas for my own African misadventures.
