My suggestions for an army list for the Khalsa is now up on my blog. A few new pics too not including this one which is for part 2.
I hope it is of interest to folks doing the Sikh Wars. withob.blogspot.co.uk |

Great stuff. The Alkali must be one of the most flamboyant units to create. The battle where they clashed with Afghan Ghazis (before your period) would be no place for the feint of heart. Regards David F Brown |

Their feinting caused fainting. |

Yes I'd say so, flamboyant that is. I read a bit about the Sikh war with the Afghans in Dalrymple's Return Of A King it would have you shouting Nurse! Alright. And of course it is tempting to game it. |

The Sikh commanders I see one from Martian Empires. The other fellow on the leftfellow riding the brown horse with green blanket wearing red with the Shield. Who is he from? What is your source for the green coat of the Sikh Ghurkhas? Other than WI/Perry Twins? |

The Sikh commanders are all either Black Hat Sikh Generals or QRF Indian Princes or is it leaders? Anyhow the chap you ask about is a QRF one. The green coats are from WI/Perries as you suggest or possibly Ian Heath I cannot remember. |

The green coats with red facings are mentioned in `European Adventurers of Northern India 1785 to 1849', C. Grey (1929), p. 27. |
