Some time ago I ordered a set of fields from Hotz. They came in quickly and the quality was great. A few weeks ago I sent Hotz an email about a Western small town mat. I wanted to be sure it would come in time for an Old West game I will be running in May. Eric assured me it would so I placed the order. The mat came in a couple days ago with plenty of time to spare before it will be needed. I think the time from ordering to delivery was about 3 weeks, maybe less, and the mat is exactly what I need. Friendly service and prompt delivery of a quality product. What more can one ask for? Paul |

Terrement, how many times do we have to explain this? Of course he doesn't want onion rings with that! He wants extra fries (super sized), a large strawberry milkshake, hash browns AND onion rings! You'll never make it in this industry if you can't tell what a customer wants when he walks through the door. On the other hand Eric and his elves do give give good service… |

So has the response and customer service from Hotz improved overall then? I'm saying this because I know a while back he was really bad and responding and/or supplying stuff ordered… |

Murphy, that's what confused me about JJ's post. Hotz has had a bad rep for a long time. I'd like to know if he's legit again. He has nice mats, and I would order them if I knew I would get them in a normal time without hassle. |

My understanding is that Hotz had a partner who was in fact the one responsible for dragging the business down and giving Hotz a bad reputation. The partnership has been dissolved and Hotz is on his own now. That is why I posted here; to let everyone know that, at least in my two dealings with him, Hotz came through with flying colors. His customer service and response times to emails were excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to order from him again. Paul |

I placed an order for felt fields on February 23rd and am still waiting for them to show up. I was told the item has shipped twice – the second time with extra items for the trouble was over two weeks ago. |

I have two Hotz mats and the gladiator arena, very much would like to order more (need a desert hex mat soon), but would need additional testimonials that things have turned around before risking it. If all else fails there is always Monday Knight Productions (whom I need to order from at any rate). |

Finally received my parcel yesterday. Over two months to deliver a set of fields. I received replies when I sent inquiries, which is good, but every other retailer I've ordered from in the last six months was able to do so along with delivering the product within a four week time frame. I was told the initial parcel must be lost, which would be anomaly based on my other orders. I'm hesitant to order anything else at this point. |
