Now I'm sure all you hawkeyed and clued up TMPers will know this one already but while checking out some clips of the old (1964) movie "Zulu" today I discovered that quite a number of extras were happily operating the bolts on their rifles! Closer inspection showed the rifles were indeed Mk1 Lee Enfields with the magazine removed to give a similar outline and make them single shot like the rest of the casts Martini Henrys! For fifty years I have been deceived! Therapy beckons! |

OOF, That's gotta hurt. You might want to get a cold compress and lay down for a while. That's probably the difference in mindset when watching a movie…do you check your brain at the door and watch the 'big picture' spectacle, or do you focus on the details? SPOILER ALERT! Watch a Bruce Lee movie, but focus on the background action. |

Yeah, I've heard about them but never seen them. There again I'd never spotted the Enfields either! :o) |

That's it. I've had it. Call in all copies of that movie and burn them! |

Great, another movie blighted! I watched Star Wars dozens of times before noticing the Stormtrooper walking into the door and now I can't miss it!!! |

In the first island scene in the original "King Kong", if you watch closely, you'll see on of the "natives" drop his wig--and then pick it up and put it back on. |
