I'm thinking that Fireforge is now in the resin business, and out of the plastic. It's a shame, I have bought every box except one of the plastics. It's not that these are bad looking figures, but if I wanted to pay metal prices, I would buy metal. I don't consider resin a plastic figure.

Who are they being mailed to? Can they be mailed to me? PM me for my mailing address.

They've already been shipped to you. Be on the lookout for them.

The Templar box says "plastic." What are they making out of resin?

All of their latest figures including the Russians in the pictures are resin. The mounted knights and the Templars are past releases. I will say again, I really like their plastic figures. I am currently working on foot and mounted mongols, and a box of Teutonics.

Bummer. I am not a resin fan either.

I agree. I don't buy resin.

Yeah, I had to stop buying Fireforge when the switched to resin, can't afford it… I was really looking forward to those Russians too… :(

My count may not be exactly right, but I think they have released 14 sets of resin figures and some individual resin figures since the last time they released any plastic. The resin is in blister packs just like metal figures. Again, they are nice figures but I went away from metal and don't feel that resin is any better than metal. But, opinions vary.

Resin is lighter (transport) but certainly better detailed than metal.

Good resin is really good. Bad resin (cough Failcast cough) is really bad.

Horses for courses.

The first and last resin I got from them was very brittle. Small pieces broke off just holding the figure. (Mounted Heavy Mongols) TIG
