Any one here own a copy of the Navwar/Heroics & Ros Ancient rules booklet? If so I need to ask you a question. I own the Napoleonic Rules booklet from the company and it has mounting instructions for Infantry, skirmishers, cavalry & artillery and I was wondering if the Ancient Rules booklet does also. I look forward to your help. |

I have the April 1984 edition. It specifies base sizes and models per base for light and heavy mounted, light and heavy infantry, wagons & artillery. |

Light mounted (skirmishers) 15x15mm, 2/base Heavy mounted (melee) 15x15mm, 3/base Light infantry (skirmishers) 15x8mm, 2/base Heavy infantry (melee and close order) 15x6mm, 4/base Wagons, Artillery, elephants, chariots etc. 15x up to 40 mm, 1/base Pack animals 15x up to 40mm, 3/base Peltasts and similar troops should be duplicated on heavy and light infantry bases. I can't explain any of this; I have never used these rules. |
