One of the command group has a sten smg – I didn't think 8th army had them.

Paul,
According to the blurb one of them is carrying a Sterling Gun too. I didn't think any British army in WWII had them. Oh Dear…
But in fairness the company's banner does say: "Quality 28mm figures for skirmish, semi-historical, role playing and Colonial period games."
So with "semi-historical" no breach of the Trade Descriptions Act there then.
Cheers,
Bertie

If you can't say anything nice, don't say nothing at all.

I am silent.

You could of course use them for British troops in Palestine post WW2. There were definitely Stens by then and pictures show plenty of early mark helmets in use.

They are nice sten guns.

Jemima Fawr19 Apr 2016 10:09 p.m. PST

One of those 'nice Sten Guns' is a 'Stirling' (sic), ffs.

Why didn't they give them a Carl Gustav, a GPMG and an SLR or two while they were at it…?
