I'm sure more than a few 2400 scale gamers have found themselves up this particular creek. The GHQ Lexington is not fit out correctly for the Battle of the Coral Sea. Instead of twin 8" turrets, she had quad 1.1" gun tubs. I know that there are some early war BBs with sprued 1.1" tubs, but I am loathe to buy 2 ships I don't need to cannibalize their sprues.

I emailed GHQ about this, but never heard back. Surely, someone has an idea how to resolve this particular problem. Please to enlighten me…

I know for the tanks he sells the sprues separately. Call him – far more effective. I've bought parts sprues from him no problem.

They were having trouble with the email contact box on their site. I find it much easier to telephone GHQ

As said GHQ doesn't seem to pay attention to their emailbox. Call them, it's the only way to get their attention but they are good then.

How many quad 1.1"? One on each corner, three before the bridge, one behind the bridge but before the funnel, and, I think, three behind the funnel.

I don't know which of the early BBs, possibly several of the Pearl Harbor models, had quad 1.1 sprues.

It will be expensive. Guns and aircraft were… I believe $3.75 USD a sprue before their price increase.

You guys called it. Calling in worked. They charged $3 USD per sprue, I ordered and paid for 2, but they sent me 3.

Problem solved.

Tks.
