I think it and the whole "armies and enemies" series were vital in giving us wargaming figures as accurate as current research could be. Up to that point we had figures based on Funcken, and worse. Some might be "outdated" but not many. They have held up. |

This may be a stretch, but possibly you can buy the new edition. It should have everything you need. |

I bought the first edition and it inspired me to get into ancients back in 1973. Terrific book. thanks Phil. |
