Ran across this today. The rules appear to have a unique command feature. So for only $4 USD for the PDF I signed up.
The authors suggest using hair curler armies which I think are nice but just not for me. I do however want to see their rulebook published.

Cheers! I am Arthur from EZPainter. we are just about halfway funded now! And yes the game is perfectly combattible with other miniatures :) Many people have expressed an interest in simply using the rules but not the mini's. I started a facebook group for discussion too –
