While I was stuck in a hotel for a week, I couldn't do a lot of work but I had time to do one thing:
Rework No End in Sight to be sharper, sexier and meaner.
Almost everything has been touched up, clarified or just made more sensible. A few big changes:
Permament Stress is gone. Now you are only tracking regular stress for each squad.
Vehicle combat is much simpler and uses a relative firing table, similar to FiveCore (just judge what category the shot falls into).
Close combat is just an extension of regular combat now, though its still more deadly.
Pushing troops out of positions in cover is much harder to do.
Best of all, the update will not cost you a thing. If you already purchased the rules, you will get the new version absolutely for free once it is available.
No Stars in Sight will get a similar treatment, hopefully over the summer but there's a rash of other projects happening before then.
