I had been looking around for ideas on how to re create that classic late war Panzer look, when the skies above Normandy was full of allied aircraft. After a lot of experimenting I went back to basics, got a bag of Noch 'leaf', went in the garden and cut some suitable small twigs, cut to size and shape I roughly wanted, dripped with super glue and then rolled in the 'leaf'. Takes just seconds to make and to dry, and when draped over does the job nicely :) I leave it free so I can remove it as I want to. My understanding is that Panzer crews were issued 'D' rings to weld on and simply pushed the branches under, as they preferred not to use netting as it could snag? I'm no expert though so stand to be corrected on that. Couple of pics of my Stug, commander nervously watching the skies! Cheers, Lee.

Those are amazingly effective, great work! I've heard similarly about the snagging of nets, but in my ignorance only heard about the D rings recently. |

Thank you :) It's just a little extra touch that helps bring the models to life a bit I find. I'm still building up my terrain etc, but here's a shot of my little dedicated hobby room where I paint and play Bolt Action. Cheers, Lee.
