World of Tanks has agreed to host one of there Player Gatherings,in conjunction with "Little Wars" 2016. More information on this as the convention staff works out the details.

1 Did the typical Fuzzy carry a sword and several spears(throwing and thrusting) or just concentrate on one weapon.
2 In the early Sudan War did the Red Sea tribes, Kordostan(sp) tribes and Nile Arabs ever fight together in large numbers.

Thanks for any help. Trying to get my Sudan War forces together. Have several of the Osprey books and Go Strong In The Desert but still have some questions

1) No hard and fast rule I expect. What they could lay their hands on.

2) Not as far as I'm aware until later on when I think there was a mix of tribes at Ginnis. The Arab tribes together – yes but not with the Beja tribes not in large numbers. I'm sure the Main Mahdi army did send troops to support other armies though.

For example, the armies that fought the Desert Column were Riverine arabs not Beja people.
