Just one thing – the eagle and flag, along with Ewart's sword, are on display in Edinbourgh Castle. The flag is completely intact, just missing a few bits of embroidery.

It only makes sense. The model 1815 flags were newly made for this campaign.

Someone also told me that the 45th line flag was not so damaged,Widowson, but I didn't knew it at the time and it was a sort of artistic challenge for me to paint a battle torn flag.
