Just one thing – the eagle and flag, along with Ewart's sword, are on display in Edinbourgh Castle. The flag is completely intact, just missing a few bits of embroidery. It only makes sense. The model 1815 flags were newly made for this campaign. |

Thanks for your comments ;-) Someone also told me that the 45th line flag was not so damaged,Widowson, but I didn't knew it at the time and it was a sort of artistic challenge for me to paint a battle torn flag. |
