The title did arouse my curiosity, but it doesn't seem to have any historical basis; I thought the name might have been used for an ad hoc unit formed from some pairing of British Armd and US Abn, which certainly did happen (as detailed in By Tank into Normandy for instance). Given you don't get the tank in the box, perhaps they finished early the day they did the artwork?

Call me an old-fashioned curmudgeon, but I think it's nice when a model manufacturer does at least SOME research… ;)

(The armoured brigade marking btw is for 9th Armoured Brigade in Italy. I've no idea what the 86 AoS sign relates to)
