Were the Shermans given to the Soviets via lend-lease painted russian green with russian markings, or U.S. colors with russian markings?

Majority left in U.S. colors with Russian Markings.

O paint my lend lease in the donor country color with Russian markings. But because it adds a shade of variety, not because it is right.

The vehicles sent were sent in the colours they came out of the factory. The Russians may or may not have repainted them. If they were greenish already, by and large they didn't bother, although they did add extra markings.

Captured Germans stuff was often repainted, as it was so much easier to make a mistake with that.
