Hi All I've just started to collect 10mm Pendraken LoA miniatures. Please could I ask if anyone might be able to tell me the various state colours which were used for gun carriages and ancillary equipments? For example, what colour were French and Allied guns in the norm? I'm presuming black metal work in most cases … Thanks in advance and regards Steve :) |

This kind of detail is often elusive for the period. Chartrand's Osprey gives red wood and black ironwork for French guns. Jan Wyck's painting of the Boyne shows a natural wood colour for guns, I can't recall whether they'd have been English or Dutch pieces. |

Thanks clibinarium:) I was hoping that this might be the case, so that I have some "freedom" in choosing colours for the equipment… Cheers S |
