here is my sort of idea of my engineering and engine room

Now I do have other ideas of other thing that can be used as well.

Like Cat 5 connectors as computers.

Happens more and more.

Those look great. I have actually yet to make my stop at the hardware store to pick up some of those pipe pieces for engines but I will do it soon.

Pictors Studio13 Apr 2016 8:04 p.m. PST

Sure enough three errors in a row. Impressive.

Pictors Studio13 Apr 2016 8:06 p.m. PST

Four. Can I keep going?

Pictors Studio13 Apr 2016 8:06 p.m. PST

Pictors Studio13 Apr 2016 8:07 p.m. PST

And my streak ends with five.

Thanks now I know it's not just me! wink

It's a slow moving project overall but it sure is fun figuring out new things from everyday things. evil grin

Those look really great.

Thanks for sharing your pics and info.

I like the idea for your Spaceport too, and the new ship you've purchased for that.

I've been working on acquiring some new stuff also, and recently picked up some interstellar space planes/shuttles to place around the complex. Some need a little repair work, and all could use a spiffy new paintjob, but they go nicely with 15mm minis too.

Thanks for the great post WM,
I strongly suggest that you get your hands on any (old) computer /electronics stuff.
Old Hard disks, motherboards, power supplies will yield tons of stuff with minimal tools required.Just be careful of any sharp solder bits or potentially toxic materials ( lead in solder, dried flux etc ).

Btw , who makes that mini ?

thumbs up !

War Monkey14 Apr 2016 6:40 a.m. PST

Zrunelord the miniature is from Rebel Minis I think it part of his milita set

zrunelord14 Apr 2016 7:04 a.m. PST

Thanks for the info WM.
Still can't locate him under RM's Militia though.

Old ink jet printers, floppy & CD drives will also yield gears, toothed belts ( great for tracks)and other sundry.
