These were described as Micro Machines Die Cast, is that correct? They are certainly metal and about 28-30mm from boot to helmet top. Doesn't seem to be anything on the web about them. They have numbers under the base e.g. LFL82 088005 on the E-Web gunner.

Close. Those are from the Star Wars Micro COLLECTION. It was a short-lived, but very cool series of playsets. I bought a ton of them for gaming long before West End Games did their Star Wars mini's.

Yeah, I had those. Closest thing to minis for years and years. Of course, when I had them it wasn't for gaming, but for playing. And, since they have no articulation and my action figures did, I didn't like them much and lost them. Good find.

Yes, I have some of them. They had some good playsets. They were back in the 80s

Around the time Empire was out these came in a small set. It had a plastic Diorama set to hold a very out of scale Rebel Reactoer Shield Generator. had all the Snow Trooper you have and a Darth Vadar. Same number of Rebels. WOW that takes me back and my odd Star Wars odds and ends turns up. they are pretty old, were horribly painted but the set was fun times.
