They might work, but may be too "gaudy" for mid to late 18th century ships. Have you looked at the Old Glory shipyard? link link Jim |

I'm with ColCampbell the Old Glory Shipyard would be the way to go for doing The Fort. |

I agree about Old Glory, but I have their 1/300 AWI/1812 ships in mind. Those would give enough maneuver room on a real table, and they can be crewed with 6mm men and guns. Personally, I'll probably end up doing this myself someday in 1/1200 and play 15mm land actions on a separate table, because I already have so much of the lead. - Ix |
