I have started the planning process for the AQMF game that I will be running (with a few others) at Little Wars 2017. The game will be a US/UK/Canadian attack on a founders cell. The game will be close to 40 feet long and probably 12 to 16 feet deep. It will have well over 200+ Tripods and support troops. The humans will field hundreds of tanks, maybe 9 Land Ironclads, aircraft, and more. Those that participate may be able to purchase a few goodies as well. Like an improved Dominator & Overseer. |

How are you going to play on a 12 foot deep table? |

Maybe the tables will have a gap running between them, so really 6 feet deep? Just guessing. But at the scale the game is, and I mean size of the 18mm figures, why would you need anything wider than 6 feet? |

So I gotta ask, is the stuff going to be scratch built? I'm very sure Alien Dungeon didn't produce any Land Ironclads…and I really sure they didn't make any Dominators or Overseers…… |

Actually AD did make the US Land Ironclads, no British however. Now I just have to find a way to go to Little Wars next year. |

Well I do have my ways of getting things done Rich, and have been running large games at Little Wars many years now. Actually have several ways to play 12 foot deep table. Not really all that hard to do. 45th, range of some weapons in the game support a bigger table, also gives room for maneuver and makes for a more interesting scenario and game. PzGeneral…Yes, AD did make the Land Ironclad…you can still find them at some shops. I have two, and ran them in a game last year at Little Wars. I was probably the only person that got a dominator, it was also used in the game I ran at Little Wars last year. I am having someone make an improved copy of the Dominator, and then will look to have the Overseer made. Those that contact me and give me an order can get the Dominator this year at the convention, only. After the convention I should have an Overseer done. |

I stand corrected….it was the Goliath that was never produced. Dave |

Yep…..but who knows. One of the reasons why I am running the game is to show/see the interest that remains. I know a lot of players that really like the game. So maybe this will encourage interest to see it rise once more. |

I would buy a Dominator for sure, but unfortunately I'm not going to Little Wars… |

For now anyway the Dominator will only be available at Little Wars. And will need to be pre-ordered as well. I am only having a limited number made. The one that I received was only slightly bigger than the Assault Tripod. To many that saw pictures of it, and in the game I ran last year; all felt it looked smaller than they expected. So this Dominator will be several inches bigger, and more substantial as well. All the more reason to start attending Little Wars. |
