Thank you very much everyone I really do appreciate the support! @davbenback Well Aventine miniatures really do make you one want to put in a good effort regardless of standings.:-) Actually the elites are more uniformed or at least I paint them that way to give a more disciplined/professional look so the color explosion is slightly less dramatic. Tarentines on the other hand with the exception of their famed cavalry are more or less citizen soldiers or at least that's my understanding so you can really go to town on the colors and have fun experimenting. Gorgeous painting. I love the Aventine Pyrrhic range and have some of their Phalangites. Just wish my eyesight was crisper to justify painting them. You've really done this unit justice. |
