Remembering Marx WOW Figures

If you were a kid in the 1960s who loved history and toy soldiers, you probably had a WOW figure!

The good doctor didn't include a link to the rules in his blog post. They are available here.

Nice write up and I look forward to seeing how your basing goes on those figures. I have English Adventurers, Colonial Spanish and Eastern Woodland Indians companies (with lots of others unpainted or partially painted), problem is that the lists and optional company numbers changed from Version 1 and 2, and mine are Version 1 armies. I've played a few games of Version 2 and love it; need to to get my companies on the table more often and paint up the rest of them. Great set of rules that provide a fun game with plenty of feel for the period and theatre.

Nice to see a compact table giving a good game.

IW is full of flavour and proves you don't need a big table and hundreds of figures to have a good game!
