1940 German recovery halftrack based on the French WWII comedy "Mais où est donc passee la 7ème compagnie?" Where a trio of hapless French soldiers avoid capture by the rapidly advancing Germans in 1940, meet up with a downed young pilot determined to carry on the fight. They chance upon a German halftrack (a classic movie-modified M3 Halftrack) and start to sow confusion behind enemy ranks often more through sheer blind luck than actual skill. YouTube link In this clip they manage to take out a German tank (based on an M24 Chaffee) YouTube link When approaching a local grocer as French soldiers they are chased away, but as a few moments later the grocer gladly gives some passing Germans food they return in disguise and take a little revenge on the collaborator. |
