Hi folks, Can anyone identify the figure linked below? file:///C:/Users/Bob/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/INetCache/IE/SHKD6V7A/20160407_202912[1].jpg It was mixed in with a bunch of Pirate figures I picked up a few years ago, but it may not be a pirate. On the bottom it is clearly marked Task Force Games 1980. I am not aware of any figures like this ever being produced by Task Force Games despite extensive research. Does anyone who what it is? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob DeSilva |

Look here: TMP link You need to register for Photobucket, Flickr, Dropbox or other online file repository site. After you upload your photo(s), you can link to them. |

Thanks Nap, but that didn't help. |

That almost looks like a Klingon pattern Disruptor. He may be from some forgotten RPG line for SFB. |

It is a musketeer figure manufactured by Task Force Games for their game "Musketeer". More here: link |

That would make sense Cyrus, but Musketeer came out in 1984-85, and the figure is dated 1980. Also, I can't find any other evidence that Task Force Games ever made figures for their Musketeer game. |

Don't recognize the figure per se, but looks a lot like it could be a Planet of the Apes figure. Does it look like it is in an ape type figure? No idea who would have made such a thing. My best guess with the rather small image in the photo. |

Thanks Early, but it doesn't look like an Ape. I just picked up a blister of Task Force Games figures on Ebay that look very similar. I'll hopefully know more when I get the pack. My best guess is that TF games experimentally sold packs of mixed, miscellaneous figures for some of their role playing games, like Musketeer, in the late 70's/early 80's, and that is where this figure came from. |
