Hi there I am thinking about trying to make some custom decals for my planes but I have no idea where to start. Firstly where can I get waterslide decal paper in Aus? Any online tutorials that can help when making them? |

It looks like this place might have the right stuff. Mentions models in the description: decalpaper.com.au |

I was thinking about this only a couple of days ago, reprising a conversation with friends I'd had many years ago. Got an answer to my question, before I'd even thought about asking…… Many thanks for the link! Duck

G'day, Jason. As well as the site Ian has, mate, you should be able to get Bare Metal Foil (brand name) clear and white decal paper in any good hobby shop or at BNA Models (Vic) or Creative Models (NSW). Toyworld has it Canberra as well. The BMF paper is about 60% more expensive than the decalpaper.com.au stuff, but is very thin and it conforms nicely to quite uneven surfaces. Make sure you order the correct paper- putting ink jet paper into a laser printer can wreck the printer. No, don't ask ME how I know this. Ask me son…… Dal. |

Is ANYTHING water-slide in Aus? I thought water was against your religion :-) |
