I am planning on organizing some DBA 3.0 events at the Drums at the Rapids game conference on Saturday, May 21 at Fort Meigs in Toledo, Ohio. Fort Meigs is a War of 1812 fort and a museum. This conference is an HMGS Great Lakes event link
10:00 to noon- Introduction to De Bellis Antiquitatis (DBA) 3.0: A introduction to the newest version of the ancient and medieval miniatures rules set with an explanation of the rules, changes from previous versions, and a questions and answers period. All to be followed by a demo game. Open to all players. No experience necessary.
2:00 to 6:00 – DBA 3.0 15mm Open Tournament:
Rules – DBA 3.0, 15mm, all published 3.0 or 2.2 armies.
Players – 16. A limited amount of loaner armies may be available.
Terrain – bring your own legal sized terrain or some construction paper or cloth to make your own.
Format- Swiss chess style. Will do initial matching based on historical context. Will also consider initial matching based on experience level. 3 or 4 rounds. Must use same army throughout the tournament.
