I recently bought a die cast model of a half-track. It came in one of those display cases and by the time I had got it off the base it was short one of the tracks not sure if it pinged off or it was never there- Any ideas about how to replace it? |

watch your cat for the next few days. if it pinged off, the cat will surely find it. |

If the cat fails I'd try replacing the missing track (and possibly the remaining track with thick rubber band (cut to fit if necessary). Apply a decorators filler or similar to both tracks and the wheels, paint the lot a mud colour, then dry brush the whole of the lower part of the model with a dried earth colour. |

It is an SDKFZ 250 (alte) John T…It is Rommel's Greif H/T so was intended for a command base. John A – thanks for that I might give it a whirr. |

You could look for resin parts – I think Modell Trans do one-piece track unit replacements for the ACE SdKfz 10. Wasn't this an unarmoured 250? |
