For a high school history diorama, I turned that guy into a Vietnamese farmer by painting him with black "pajamas" and adding a little paper hat.

No.3 "fought" in WWII,also.

And in WWI, though more likely to be made of hollow-cast metal or "composition".

For that matter, I remember the pose featuring in a Dover book of paper ACW soldiers.

Yes, the guys at "high port" were always useless except as casualties. I loved the paratroopers though, we used to launch them using slingshots. The minesweepers were always sort of useless too.

Anyone played Airfix charades? Same as regular charades except you pick a figure from a mixed bag of old Airfix figures and attempt to recreate the pose while the others have to guess which set it is from. Hilarious fun!
