I have a few questions for those of you that own the Roman Seas Roman & Carthage Navy ships.

1. How many of each ship type (6 for Rome & 5 for Carthage) do you have in your fleets for fleet games?

2. Did you print them on card stock or did you print them on label paper and then stick them on card stock to put them together?

Pictures I have seen of the ships look thicker than regular paper, so I assume they are card stock miniatures. Who am I kidding. I would not be able to put these ships together and I would so much like to get into the game. Any one out there have some pre-built ships that they could part with for a fair price? Or know of any one that does? Is there a service out there that assembles them for you? If you know of any, PM me here or email me at missykty@aol.com. BTW, I could still use answers to my two questions.

You have some good questions. I am thinking about buying it also. My interest is more in the Late Roman period and buying the Barbarians vs Rome Ship Set.

This period would see small squadron actions with raiding parties of Saxons running into Roman patrols to stop them on the Britain or Gallic coasts.

I think the period you have interested in would have bigger fleet actions and larger ships. You could probably go to Polybius and Livy for references of small squadron actions.

For the models I am thinking printing on good card stock would be a better option. Going to Staples or Office Depot to do it. I can see that you think assembly is tricky. They are small ships in scale. I have some of the same reservations myself. Since it is a .pdf image, I can print multiple copies and practice to learn. I can also give to some of my younger kids to do it
