How do Magister Militium and Pendraken match up with Old Glory in size. Thanks

Old Glory are on a thicker base which makes the Magister and Pendraken look smaller but I simply built up the bases under the Pendraken and Magister figures and used them on the same stands as OG and they looked OK to me.

At least with Gauls.

The OG vary by range,apparently--the AWI are on thick bases, but WSS are thin. Those are the only ones I have. Don't know about the Napoleonics.

Oh yes--I do have a few packs of Pendraken, and size-wise the infantry match pretty well. The Old Glory horses are a bit larger than the Pendraken, and riders are separate,so they do take up more space. I can fit four OG horse on a one and a half inch frontage base comfortably. I could squeeze five Pendraken in the same space, but of course I don't,for uniformity's sake. One nice thing about the OG horses is multiple poses, unlike Pendraken.

I believe someone on another thread was saying the OG Napoleonics command strips were longer than the regular infantry strips, which,if true, would be rather strange. I glue two strips in a double rank to steel paper trimmed to fit the stands,no real "base" at all. Different sized strips would make that difficult. But that's my problem, I doubt if anyone else does it that way.

Magister Militum, figures tend to look like reenactors compares to pendrakens (carrying a few pounds). Fine in the same army but not mixed in the same unit.
OG come in strips except for light infantry types. As stated earlier there horses are a little bigger. I have all three in my Napoleonic French and it works fine, try to keep regiments to one manufacturer though.

ciaphas: how about That strip length rumor? Different,or the same?

Pendraken and MM are individually based infantry. OG comes in strips of 5 – real pain if you base as 2 ranks of 3…..

I would not mix MM and Pendraken in the same unit. MM suffer from scale creep in comparison.

Personally I haven't noticed a difference of strip length for command figures with OG. A friend bases his 10mm on 30mm wide bases and they fit fine there.

I don't like the strips at all. So haven't got any.

I find the strips easier to handle. And easier to paint.
But as I've said before,I cheat.
