I am looking for books on the movie Aliens that deal with the nuts and bolts of the movie, not additional fiction, but books that stay true to the movie form, and hopefully ones that can add more details to the "background" of Alien/Aliens. For example, I have the Colonial Marine book that details the Marine's equipment and it also has some additional "info" about the Alien development as a lifeform. Are there more books that are like tech or weapons info, or ones that deal with developing the Alien/Aliens movies more fully? Thanks! |

The Technical Manual that you mention is the only one I have seen. |

The USCM Technical Manual is quite comprehensive as a sourcebook. If you're interested in a movie-centric book, there's "Alien:The Archives, The Ultimate Guide to the Classic Movies":
The Prodos Games AvP rulebook also may be of interest to the gamer or film enthusiast. You can download a free pdf copy of it by typing "AvP rulebook pdf ping token" in your Google search engine. |

The old Aliens Adventure Game by Leading Edge Games provides some background information. Hard to find these day if you're looking for a physical copy. link link Also, one of the greatest resources on the Alien universe: link It mixes canon from the movies and comic books. |

Is the Leading Edge RPG book worth a look for background/tech/canon info? The Serena Dawn site is pretty cool! I have added Alien: The Archives to my Amazon wishlist and have downloaded the AvP rulebook as well. Thanks!!! |

There was an ALIENS comic book/magazine by Dark Horse Presents a long time ago (1990s) that had articles on Xenos biology and other things. Here is one issue link |
