I'm hoping some of you awesome Nap gamers can help me find a miniature. I'm currently working on a WW2 Hungarian army, as well as terrain, and need to make a statue of Andras Hadik. It appears the statue itself is roughly life-size, so I'm looking for a good mounted hussar miniature between 28mm to maybe 40mm.
Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Eureka's Austrian Hussars from their French Rev. Wars range should get you most of the way there. link |

I thought this was the nearest I could find. Right headgear and horse pose about right; link Ah, now I see he is wearing his pelisse rather than over his shoulder…rats……. |

Thank you all! It looks like the Eureka Hussar At Rest is nearly identical. I've contacted Eureka USA to see if I can order that specific mini. @deadhead: I initially thought the same but the picture below appears to show the coat over his left shoulder…

Anyone have either the one in the upper right or lower left corner they're willing to sell? Eureka USA was less than helpful (they're unwilling to charge less than their standard $7.50 USD in postage…even for one mini!)

So let me get this straight. You want to order one mini. Are you aware that standard manufacturing technique is to cast a whole pack at once, because that is how the mold is designed? You want them to remove one mini from that spin. Now, the rest is scrap. Eureka does not ordinarily sell these as individual figures. They are doing you a favor. So, they have to get the mold out, make a spin (maybe two to warm up the mold), wrap up ONE figure to ship to you and throw the rest back in the pot, and you are complaining that they want to charge normal shipping??? Again we see this bizarre idea that a "hobby" business is not a real business, and that it is supposed to lose money catering to the whims of a guy who is unlikely to make future purchases. |
