Nice I keep getting pulled towards them. The tank turrets remind me of some Combat Wombat tanks I got a few years back.

Love those tanks.

John Treadaway04 Apr 2016 2:17 a.m. PST

They are aimed at two factions in the Slammerverse.

The light tracked weapons are designed specifically as weapons for Fasolini's Company (single barreled and quad barreled auto-conebores on light tracked gun mounts.

The tank is designed to be the Terran supplied (but not crewed!) Laser armed blower with an autocannon in a restricted forward mount. These are designed to be used by Cecach Republican forces.

There will be an innovative APC to go with these and play sheets also using vehicles from Brigade's current Eurofed and Polish ranges available shortly.

cosmicbank – I think I know the Combat Wombat ones you mean but these are probaby a bit larger: the hull on that tank is probably 90mm long.

I thoroughly approve these designs.

The new tanks look great, and the tracked autocannons will have all sorts of uses….

I like Brigade's stuff but have never been a fan of the "hovercraft" skirts on the Slammers vehicles. These, however, look fantastic.

The tanks are not bad but I think the front is wrong. should be a single hatch in the center for a driver and no hull MG. Also a tribarrel on the turret would be right.

John Treadaway05 Apr 2016 12:23 p.m. PST

It's carefully based on a description in the story, Shadowcat20.

Fair enough

Very nice but I prefer 6mm for my SciFi battles….wonder if they will come out in 6mm?

John Treadaway07 Apr 2016 3:19 a.m. PST

Brigade do have the big advantage in doing pretty much all of their ranges in both 1/100th and 1/300th (or however big 6mm is nowadays) so there's a good chance (specially if you poke 'em!).

Tony from Brigade and I were just chatting after a recent game
link and saying that one of the next games we do will be a Slammers Crucible game in 6mm…
