I am curious what rules are currently on the market for use with individually mounted 15mm infantry? Ideally they would include any and all types of vehicles, and up to multiple company sized units on a side.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

irishserb

Take a look at Men Under Fire by Test of Battle Games. They'll work with 15s as well as 20s or 28s

There are quite a few of us doing Bolt Action in 15mm, we use the regular ranges for 28mm but cut the movement in half. You probably could use any of the rules meant for 28mm and substitute 15mm.

Disposable Heroes, many think its only for 28mm but it can be for 20mm or 15mm as well.

Multiple companies individually based and vehicles? I Ain't Been Shot Mum.

What Weasel said.

Rapid Fire. Iron Cross.

Do you want a 1:1 type representation?

You can play most element type rules with single figures, and vice versa, in which case the sky is the limit.

I Ain't Been Shot Mum would be perfect

I'll add my vote to the suggestions for IABSM.

The Battlegroup series would work well also

Chain of Command. Correct ground scale for the figures.

Anything Lardies' Brian, plays the tactics, not the rules, with great back up support.

I don't think CoC fits the bill very well for multiple companies. I love the game, but that may be pushing it.

How granular do you want movement and firing to be? Are you talking 1v1 play or 4+ players?

CoC you can control down to the team, of which you can form teams as small as one man. A platoon is going to have around 6 teams so with multiple companies I think you would be looking at at least 2 platoons per company so you would have around 24 units to manage in the least. Plus all the leaders and support. Multi-player perhaps but for one player to control I'd say reserve all day or a weekend. It's an IGOYGO with a twist of the chance of double (half) turns and interruptions via CoC dice. Available orders are limited by the success/failure of your orders roll. There would be some work to do to incorporate company and battalion command into the game. Victory by breaking the opponents morale or scenario objective.

If you are fine with the whole squad doing the same thing you could try Bolt Action but you would need a lot of order dice or you could make up tokens. I play and like Bolt Action but I think it's "gameyness" might break down at larger sizes. Perhaps you could bid for orders each turn instead of pulling dice. Low bid wins. That way you could get a few units to work in consort. It's random activation with all units eligible to receive an order. In large measure the game is all about shooting and pinning the enemy into ineffectiveness (just an opinion). Close combat is you die or I die with nothing in between. Victory is by objective and scenario.

I have a little experience with Battlegroup. It seems like it would fit the bill pretty well for what you are asking. I am not fond of having to spot before shooting and artillery seems overly complicated but it runs ok. You do need a few markers to keep track of what things do or did as their actions modify the other players shooting. It's IGOYGO, but with limited numbers of orders available based on your leaders and the game size. Victory is based on force morale which is blind to the opposing player or by objectives.

I think all 3 games would be better served by using your own OOB or TO&E's (at larger sized games), though CoC probably has the most accurate platoon level organization.

Those are 3 I play. I keep hearing shout outs for IABSM and I might need to try that some day.

IABSM is fantastic and it moves quick, though the card system is one people either LOVE or HATE.

It's not an expensive game though and its one of the few I think everyone should have played at least once.

IABSM fits the bill
