Can anyone tell me, is rubberized horsehair is avaolable in the USA?

Indeed it is and at a reasonable price. I got my (also for a zariba in the Sudan) from onlinefabricstore.net -- I bought a 6'x2' piece for $12.50 USD plus shipping which was about $6 USD IIRC.

I have made a large 3'x3'zariba and have a ton of rubberized horsehair left -- so I am thinking of making hedges.

Looks great. I have something similar. The material used, although sold as rubberised horsehair, is actually rubberised coconut hair but that doesn't matter a jot.

I buy mine in the UK from a classic car materials company – it's used in car seat restoration. The sheet size here is about 6' x 4'. If you can club together to buy a sheet you'll save a small fortune over the tiny little very expensive pieces you see sold specifically for wargaming.

I didnt realize it came in big sheets like that.
