Question on a Writers Forum For ranks from the German Army back in Imperial Germany, what would "sergeant" be in German if "feldwebel" is for infantry Sergeant Major? Sorry to ask this here, since this is more suited for the Military or History threads. I've directed to Unteroffzier entries on Wiki. Any further thoughts? |

'Sergeant' was the equivalent term in WW1. Unteroffizier was equivalent to a corporal. Robert |
