The Pyrrhos monogram is based on a coin issue produced in Macedonia by him which shows a Macedonian shield with that in the centre. The anchor was originally Seleukid exclusively but by the first century BC was also used as a state symbol by others such as Hasmonaeans and Tarkondimotidai. Eagle was an avatar of Zeus/Ba'al so could be universal although eagle standing on thunderbolt was monopolised by Ptolemies on their coins. |

8 galleys and 1 Lanterna per side. 5 x 8 table. Ended up playing 3 games with 9 players giving it a try. Pretty much a thumbs up from everyone, except our group gronard who wanted more little details. Very fast and Very fun, more ships in the shipyard. 2 Christian wins and 1 Turkish win.

Are you coming to Hisoricon with this game? |

Great pictures, I'm glad to see the rules scale so well, and were enjoyed. Was this at a convention, or your local club? Jefritrout- I know one of my customers bought two fleets and has submitted a game for Historicon, and I believe On Military Matters (who carry GGG!) is also planning on running a game or two. Cheers!
