More progress on this as I work madly on my Western Town. This time it's "The Paradise Saloon" and The Sheriffs Office/Jail. Take a look right here: link Enjoy and comments are appreciated.
Thanks! |

Personally I think that the sheriffs office/jail should be somewhat smaller than the saloon. After all the saloon should be a location where people go to drink, have entertainment like playing cards and getting into fights. The sheriffs office/jail should only be there to house the sheriff, deputy if one exists and 1 or 2 lawbreakers. So to me it doesn't need to be as big as the saloon. |

Joe. I am in kinda sorta agreement with you on this one. I think Knuckleduster wanted to keep it standard though. Most of their buildings are 2-3 standard sizes. I do have another sheriffs office that may replace this one. |

Wrap the board fence around the long side of the saloon and add another entrance, then place it on the corner of a block. That way it will seem bigger but take up the same standard footprint. |

Or, it might just be the smaller saloon in town – which means you need another, larger saloon. In your earlier post you mention the colors being subdued but then you went "red" with the saloon. Your town so your choices, of course, but I plan to reserve the vibrant colors to signage and pretty much keep to either natural wood colors or whitewashing for the vast majority of the buildings. Might add some additional color with the wagons – I have a LOT of those with two more awaiting arrival as the second half of an order. However, very nice start on an Old West town. |
