How do these two 28mm ancients ranges compare please? I am looking at mixing Hellenistic bits and pieces. Cheers! |

Generally speaking they don't really match up well. 1st Corp is a bit smaller and has a more refined style. Crusader is larger and has a more chunky look. Units in the same army are fine to my eye but not in the same unit. I do like both lines a lot. |

Oh I thought the Crusader were the short ones? Definitely chunky though… |

Cheers. So maybe a unit 1st Corp Macedonians would be fine along side a unit of Crusader Thracians, but not mixing Macs from the two lines in one unit? |

Yes, I would agree with that Hotspur. I have Crusader Punic Romans for the most part but have one unit of 1st Corp Principes and they look fine on the table top together. 1st Corp Punic Romans are definitely a bit shorter and a lot slimmer than Crusader. |
