"Ramadi has turned into ruins," said Ouda, a soldier who has been fighting in the Iraqi army's Seventh Division since mid-2015. Ouda took part in the liberation of Anbar province from the Islamic State (IS), which took hold of the city of Ramadi in May 2015. Al-Monitor met Ouda (a pseudonym), who is a resident of Baghdad, in one of the cafes of the capital during his day off. He recalled, "We fought with my comrades violent battles to expel radical IS militants in several axes of the city of Ramadi and the province of Hit. The battles wreaked havoc in Ramadi." Too much has been expended in blood & treasure by the West already … Let the other moslem countries in the region like the Sunni Saudis foot the bill. But with the Tent of Saud having cash flow problems they might not be able to afford it. And the Shia Persians are too busy trying to get nucs … So I guess the Iraqis are ed |

Seems to me they've got a good jobs program there for builders, who probably would have a lot of time to work on stuff like that, when not running around with guns, or suicide vests. The Persians have $150 USD billion or so in surplus funds, so perhaps they can float them a loan, or give them a grant. |
