If your stuck indoors today and looking for entertainment TCM has "Tarzan, the Ape Man" with Johnny Weissmuller at noon.

For those looking for sci-fi the El Rey channel has "Critters" 1-4 starting at 11am.

Good call, but I picked up the MGM set for $20 USD at Wallyworld a few years ago. The sexiest is the next one:"Tarzan and His Mate"--yeow! That's obviously not Maureen swimming naked underwater, though. After that, the Hays Office cracked down, and dressed her in more "appropriate" jungle garb.

BTW,one of the broadcast subchannels, Get TV had "Mysterious Island" this morning, and is showing "Seventh Voyage of Sinbad" right this very minute.

For Pulp fans, here's a little tribute to the Lydecker Brothers, the special effects team for all those great Republic Pictures serials:

They sure could blow stuff up real good!

For myself I can always pop in a DVD like a Godzilla film or a good War film that'll keep me busy for a few hours.

Lots of Sherlock Holmes on my PBS station. One with Jeremy Brett, the other starring Basil Rathbone.

With Sherlock enlisted to track them down, the Nazis should have known they couldn't win!

Watching "Turn: Washington's Spies" series. Too bad it wasn't originally on an HBO-Showtime type channel, would hurt to see…more…
