It appears through satellite imagery, that a new, Viking settlement may have been discovered in North America, specifically in SW Nova Scotia:

Further research and diggings need to occur to confirm the suspicions, but it is interesting, nonetheless.

Yeah, I saw this earlier. Looks right interesting. Personally, I suspect we'll find a lot more, signalling some sort of Norse presence in North America for quite a long time.

Mako 11. That would be SW Newfoundland. I Don't mean to be pedantic by correcting you. It makes sense, as Anse aux Meadows the first discovery is 300 miles away. They possibly could have sailed along the coastline. Would be very interesting if they could prove it is a settlement site
