Well despite having time off in March, I did not make as much progress as I would have like due to work !!!!!

So a quarter of the year gone and I'm still in profit – Of course we are going to Salute in 2 weeks so that could change veryh rapidly…..:-)

Plan

1) keep painting Arabs and try and do some mahdists

I started March with 359 in the pile. I had a pretty productive month even though all my weekends were busy with non-painting activities.

I painted 30 figures:
4 – 25mm D&D Monsters
8 – 25mm D&D PCs/NPCs
2 – 25mm wargames figures – Elves
11 – 15mm fantasy cavalry/knights
5 – Battlemechs, including a Crescent Hawks Phoenix Hawk LAM.

I added 3 from going through a scrap/miscellaneous bag and finding figures that could be used. Good news is that I've gone through all my scrap and boxes and I've got all the minis I am keeping the pile. The rest are for trade or sale.

For the year, I have a net of: +83 figures.

Goal:
- No purchases! Two months in a row and counting. This coming month might see the Ral Partha Wave 2 figures, so we'll see how that goes.

- Keep painting down the backlog and get to the Ral Partha Wave 1 Kickstarter pile.

My pile is in the thousands. Yes it's a sickness!

Painting table is a jumble with a couple of projects that might get moved around.

Having been laid off has hurt the purse but awakened the painting monster. LOL

No Purchases until the ship is righted.

Try as I would I couldn't get motivated this month. i have figures from 3 different projects on the table plus a bunch of chests and food piles for scenery. I did manage to not buy any figures. I got my purchase fix with rules and bases. Not quite in the black but not in the red either.

Stumbled a little but the SYW cav was a planned purchase to finish off my Prussian Army. I am looking for a painter for my 6mm Naps so I hope to get those in the mix as well as boosting my own painting numbers.

Only had one day this month really sit down and paint. Made a little progress.

April is a busy month at work, combined with casting and mold making, I don't expect any hobby progress.

The brush has not been picked up. I am designing a paper tank of an M-3 Grant. Will probably make some card models throughout April.

Slipped a bit this month, though I painted a bunch.

PAINTED: 25 (8 Gnomes for a con game, 13 pieces of terrain, and 4 random fantasy wolves)

BOUGHT: 11 (3 figures from a painting class that aren't finished, some more Reaper Bones for the kids, and I found a Great War tank and a 60mm Fantasy Ogre and an OGREthulhu for OGRE while cleaning out the garage that weren't in the initial tally.)

+14 off the pile for the month (-365 for the year)
